I took a bus from Mazatlan to Puebla where I stayed for 4 days, met a very nice girl from Guatemala and did CouchSurfing. That was mid-January 2015. Yes, I'm a bit ahead with my posts... My main destination was Oaxaca. And my friends in Baja California were right: It is very Mexican and the people very nice. I loved it. I spent 4 weeks in Xela or Quetzaltenango in Guatemala where I lived in a homestay. There I took one on one Spanish lessons at El Nahual with my lovely teacher Francis. In January I did workaway at the Funky Monkey hostel in Mazatlan. I was the Yoga Teacher there and helped with cleaning. I confirmed it already when I was in Nelson in Canada. At that time, I said I can stay for one month. However, when I was in San Jose del Cabo, lots of people told me where I should go in Mexico. This post is about my stopover in La Paz after I left San Jose del Cabo a week earlier than I planned.
