From 6th of April to 1 of May 2015: I arrived in the early morning in San Cristobal de las Casas where I had already a workaway place in a hostel. In January I did workaway at the Funky Monkey hostel in Mazatlan. I was the Yoga Teacher there and helped with cleaning. I confirmed it already when I was in Nelson in Canada. At that time, I said I can stay for one month. However, when I was in San Jose del Cabo, lots of people told me where I should go in Mexico. This is part two about my time at Raices y Brazos where I volunteered and gave Yoga classes. Buenos días Mexico! During my Yoga Teacher Training in Nelson in Canada I considered what I want to do. I knew that I love Spain and want to learn Spanish and that I cannot handle less than -10°C... Due to I got very good tips from friends I decided to go to Mexico! I found a cheap flight to San José del Cabo. For me it was very important to give Yoga classes and learn Spanish due to I am just fallen in love with Spain. On workaway I found a place in a community center: Raices y Brazos....

My next job waited in Whistler in British Columbia (BC) where I worked for 3 weeks in a lodge. My host Geoff wrote to me on Workaway when I was in Spain. It suited perfect because lots of people on my journey recommended to me to go to BC because it should be beautiful. They were right! Whistler was beautiful with lots of nature, lots of activities to do, very clean and very touristic... Actually I felt a bit like riding through a vast adventure park with perfect trails and perfect cut grass...

Again, it was quite close that I got the bus to Orce when Anne gave me a lift to the bus station. We just didn't watch the time during lunch. I think it becomes a ritual for me to get quite close the bus. Actually it feels in a way relieving because it is the opposite of how I was before my journey. Moreover it shows me that this way works quite well :-). In Orce I helped Alain with painting, plastering and building in his cave house which he bought in a lonely place in the mountains of Orce....

In this final part of my post about my magical workplace in the mountains of Andalusia I will introduce very nice and interesting people I met at Anne's B & B. The unexpected is often that what will be one of the best things... So was my two weeks stay at Anne's B & B Casa Ana in the mountains of Andalusia in Ferreirola where I helped Anne. I was very excited and happy to spend the next three weeks in a family: with Tara and her three boys (Fiagh 2, Ruari 11 & Cian 15 years), a French student (Cyprien 10 years) and her dog Cumhara in Garretstown Beach close to Kinsale. Well, I love the area here :-). I had really a great time in Tara's family and I felt immediately integrated and comfortable there and this very special community. Even I see that I need usually a couple of days to settle in at a new place. But that's ok though....

After 4 weeks my job in the hostel in Kinsale was over and I prepared for working on a farm in New Ross. I planned that job in advance when I was in Germany. The next hosts I wanted to organize in Ireland. So after the farm I was open for everything. Nice was that my new hosts in New Ross wrote me it will be possible to ride. Great I thought at that time! I bought a riding helmet in Germany and brought it with me to Ireland. A bit annoying in my luggage but ok safety first :-). Farm experience....
